A University of Washington paper making the rounds this month estimates that Google’s AI Overviews have cut search referrals to Wikipedia by about 5%. Google disputes the number. Nobody has a clean fix yet for measuring what AI answers actually cost the open web. Probably nobody will for a while.
But that one contested statistic stands in for a bigger shift. Brands that used to worry only about Google rankings are now asking a different question. If an AI model answers the question instead of sending someone to a results page, does anyone ever find us at all?
That’s the real reason “LLM SEO agency” and “GEO agency” have turned into search terms international buyers actually type. This guide is Ridure’s answer to what happens next. It’s not an independent ranking. It’s our own guide, written and disclosed as such. We’re an India-based agency ourselves, and we’re listed first. Below that, we’ve picked nine other agencies using two plain rules: genuinely India-based, and genuinely smaller than the handful of large firms that already dominate this space. Nothing about how good or bad any of them are. Just criteria you can check yourself.
What “LLM SEO” or “GEO” Actually Covers
Here’s where a lot of confusion starts. ChatGPT SEO, Gemini SEO, Perplexity SEO, Claude SEO, AI Overviews optimization — these get marketed as separate things, and sometimes they’re described as if they’re all the same thing. Neither is quite right.
The umbrella term is GEO, generative engine optimization. It’s the practice of getting a brand mentioned, cited, or recommended when someone asks an AI system a question that brand could answer. LLM SEO means close to the same thing in most casual conversation. Underneath that umbrella sit several distinct engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google’s AI Overviews feature. They don’t source their answers the same way. A strategy tuned for one doesn’t automatically transfer to another.
That single fact is why this guide exists as a category-level piece instead of another platform-specific page. A buyer trying to understand “GEO agencies in India” needs the whole picture first, not just one platform’s slice of it.
How the Major AI Engines Actually Differ in Citation Behavior
This part rarely gets explained plainly, so here it is, using only sourced, dated data — nothing guessed.
Start with scale. Recent market-share tracking (First Page Sage, September 2026) put ChatGPT at roughly 51.5% of US AI-chatbot usage. Gemini sat at about 27.6%. Perplexity trailed at around 2%. That gap matters for expectations. A brand chasing Perplexity visibility is chasing a much smaller audience than one chasing ChatGPT visibility. Smaller doesn’t mean worthless. Just differently sized.
Then there’s where each engine actually pulls its answers from, and this is where the real differences show up.
- Gemini leans hard on Google’s own ecosystem. Research from Everything-PR’s Gemini Citation Source Index found that roughly 43% of citations across Google’s AI-search surfaces point to Google-owned properties. YouTube alone accounts for close to 30% of Google AI Overview video citations. LinkedIn shows up in a little over 13% of responses. If your brand has no YouTube presence and a thin Google Business Profile, you’re not fighting a generic “get mentioned more” battle on Gemini. You’re missing specific, ownable assets Gemini already trusts by default.
- Perplexity leans hard on independent, third-party conversation — Reddit especially. The same research firm’s Perplexity index puts Reddit’s share of Perplexity citations at roughly a fifth to a quarter of everything the platform cites. That’s the largest single source category of any engine studied. Perplexity also cites more generously per answer, typically pulling in more than 8 sources, over triple ChatGPT’s usual count. It shows all of them openly, too, rather than keeping them hidden behind a generated paragraph.
- ChatGPT doesn’t lean as heavily toward one dominant source category as Gemini or Perplexity do, based on the citation research above — it isn’t as concentrated on Google’s own ecosystem as Gemini, and it isn’t as Reddit-heavy as Perplexity. It also shows sources less consistently than Perplexity does.
- Claude’s citation behavior is the least publicly documented of the four at this scale. We’re not going to manufacture confidence we don’t have. Ridure runs a dedicated Claude SEO service. But we don’t yet have the volume of independently-sourced, dated research on Claude’s citation patterns that we can point to for Gemini and Perplexity. An honest gap, not a hidden one.
The takeaway for a buyer: “GEO” isn’t one skill. Getting cited on Gemini is partly a YouTube-and-Business-Profile problem. Getting cited on Perplexity is mostly a Reddit-and-forum-presence problem. Anyone offering a single, undifferentiated “AI SEO package” across every platform is either simplifying more than the data supports, or hasn’t looked closely enough to notice the difference.
One Agency for Every Platform, or a Specialist Per Platform?
Given all that, here’s the question a lot of buyers skip past: should you hire one shop to cover ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude together, or find a specialist for each?
There’s a real case for both, and it depends mostly on your size and how much internal marketing capacity you already have.
The case for one agency across platforms.
Fewer vendor relationships to manage. One team that can tell you, honestly, where your best near-term opportunity actually sits. That matters, because as the section above shows, opportunity isn’t the same size or shape on every platform. A single agency also has an incentive to be straight with you about where you’re wasting effort. Compare that to a specialist quietly pushing you toward their own platform, because that’s the only one they’re paid to talk about.
The case for platform specialists.
Say one platform genuinely dominates your customer base — Perplexity, for a technical B2B audience that already lives there. A specialist who’s gone deep on exactly that platform’s citation mechanics may out-execute a generalist spreading attention across four engines. The tradeoff is coordination. You’re now managing multiple vendors and reconciling potentially conflicting advice.
Our honest read, and we’d say this even if we ran a single-platform shop: most brands are better served starting with one agency that covers every platform. Why? Because the platforms behave differently enough that someone needs to be thinking about all of them at once, even if the actual execution work ends up weighted toward one or two. That’s the model we run at Ridure. Dedicated services per platform, one team accountable across all of them.
Why India for This Work
The short version, without overselling it: agency rates in India typically run well below comparable US or UK rates for similar work. That matters in a category new enough that nobody has years of proven ROI data to lean on yet. Lower cost means lower risk while GEO as a discipline keeps maturing.
India also has one of the largest English-speaking digital-marketing talent pools anywhere. It has a deep bench of SEO specialists, too, retraining into how LLMs read and cite content rather than how search engines rank it — a real, transferable skill overlap, not a total reinvention. Time-zone overlap with both US and UK/European business hours makes ongoing collaboration workable in practice, not just on paper.
None of that means every India-based agency is actually good at this. GEO is new enough that plenty of agencies, Indian and otherwise, are relabeling old SEO menus with new terminology. That’s exactly why the evaluation checklist further down matters more than the location question by itself.
Ridure’s Approach Across Platforms
We’re Ridure Marketing Services. We’re listed first because this is our guide — here’s what we’d want you to actually verify, not take on faith.
GEO and LLM SEO are our core specialization, not a bolt-on to a traditional SEO menu. We run dedicated services for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude specifically. Why separate services? Because, as the comparison above shows, a strategy built for one platform doesn’t automatically carry over to the next. Our deepest client experience sits in BFSI (banks, fintech, insurance), healthcare, and education, though we work across sectors.
Here’s the honest breakdown, by platform, of what we’ve actually measured. Across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, we’ve now analyzed more than 200 combined client-tracking data points. Roughly 113 come from ChatGPT engagements, about 108 from Perplexity, and 10 from Gemini so far — a newer, thinner dataset there, which we say plainly rather than dressing it up as equally solid. Claude tracking is newer still. We don’t yet have a comparable volume of data points to publish for it. We’d rather tell you where our evidence is thin than pretend every platform gets equal treatment internally.
Engagements start at ₹1,00,000 or USD 1500. Your exact quote depends on current visibility, platform mix, and industry. Plan on roughly six months for concrete, visible results — we don’t promise faster, because we haven’t seen faster hold up honestly across our own client work. If you want to see what a platform-specific engagement actually involves, our ChatGPT SEO Agency, Perplexity SEO Agency, Gemini SEO Agency, and Claude SEO Agency pages each break down the specific work. Our GEO/LLM SEO Agency page covers the practice as a whole.
Here’s what we’d ask you to hold us to, and every agency on this list too: real data, not invented case studies; honest limits on what’s measurable; and a straight “we don’t have enough data on that yet” when that’s the true answer.
Nine Other GEO / LLM SEO Agencies in India Worth Knowing
We didn’t get paid by anyone on this list, and nobody asked to be included. We deliberately picked smaller, specialized agencies rather than the handful of large firms that already dominate most “best of” lists for this category. A buyer deserves to see past the same five names that show up everywhere.
One caveat upfront: for a few of these, independent sources didn’t clearly confirm team size. So we describe them by stated focus rather than claiming a confidence about scale we don’t actually have. Same honesty standard we hold ourselves to. (Research conducted September 2026 — agency websites and third-party listicles, cross-checked against each other; full sourcing notes at the bottom of this page.)
| Agency | Location | Focus | Worth Knowing |
| ZeroAdo | Delhi | Startups, SaaS, B2B, GEO/AI-search visibility across platforms | Founder-led, founded 2022. At least one independent source flags that ZeroAdo self-publishes a “best agency” ranking placing itself first — worth verifying claims directly rather than taking a self-published list at face value, the same caution we’d want applied to us. |
| FactoryJet | Vadodara | GEO, AEO, monthly AI-citation tracking across engines | A newer, founder-led shop serving SMBs across multiple Indian cities. Same self-publishing caveat as above. |
| Ferventers | Chennai | SaaS, B2B, AI-first brands | Described independently as a smaller, specialized firm — a reasonable fit for a SaaS company specifically. |
| Black Marlin Technologies | Noida | GEO, AEO, local AI SEO | Publishes its pricing transparently on its site — worth a look if pricing opacity is a dealbreaker. |
| Qoulomb | Bengaluru | B2B SaaS, fintech, healthtech GEO/AEO | Mixed signals on scale — some sources describe a smaller specialist team, others cite larger enterprise engagements. Worth asking directly. |
| HavStrategy | India (city not confirmed) | D2C brands — beauty, fashion, lifestyle | A niche fit for a consumer D2C brand; team size not independently confirmed. |
| Beyond ROAS | India (city not confirmed) | Ecommerce (Shopify/WooCommerce) | Similarly niche-focused; team size not independently confirmed. |
| Growth Hackers Digital | India (city not confirmed) | Startups, SaaS, growth-stage companies | Focus-area fit for early-stage companies; team size not independently confirmed. |
| Nine Triangles | Noida / Delhi NCR | AI SEO, alongside broader creative and tech services | A multi-service shop rather than an AI-SEO-only specialist — worth knowing if you’d rather work with one vendor across several disciplines. |
How to Evaluate Any GEO Agency (Including Us)
Whichever agency you’re weighing — on this list or off it, Indian or not — a few questions separate the credible providers from the overclaiming ones.
Ask which platforms they actually track, not just which ones they mention. ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity source answers differently enough that “we do AI SEO” isn’t a complete answer, as the citation-behavior comparison above shows. Ask which platforms they have real, dated tracking data for. Ask which ones they’re still building confidence on.
Ask where their data actually comes from. A specific, named source — a research report, a dated study — is different from “our internal data shows.” Both can be legitimate, but only one is independently checkable.
Ask how they handle attribution. If an agency claims it can cleanly prove an AI citation drove a specific sale, be skeptical. That tracking is genuinely hard right now, for everyone. An agency pretending otherwise isn’t being straight with you. Or it doesn’t understand the limitation.
Ask about sample size. “We’ve tracked this across 100 projects” and “we’ve tracked this across 10” are both fine answers, but only if the agency tells you which one it is instead of presenting thin data with false confidence.
Watch for invented-sounding proprietary frameworks. A distinctive process name isn’t automatically a red flag. But if an agency leans on branded jargon — “The X Framework,” “Information Gain Scoring” — without being able to explain it plainly, ask them to try. We’ve seen a proprietary-sounding “scoring system” turn out, once you ask, to be a spreadsheet with weights nobody can explain.
Ask if they cover both halves of the problem. Getting cited is partly technical (is your content structured so a model can extract it?) and partly reputational (are you talked about credibly, off your own site, somewhere the model already trusts?). An agency offering only one half is doing half the job.
Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between LLM SEO, GEO, and AEO?
In practice, not much — they’re overlapping terms for the same underlying discipline: getting a brand cited or recommended by an AI system rather than ranked in a list of links. GEO (generative engine optimization) is the most commonly used umbrella term; LLM SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) describe close to the same work with slightly different emphasis depending on who’s using the term.
Do I need a different agency for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude, or can one agency handle all of them?
Either can work. One agency covering all platforms is usually a simpler starting point, especially since the platforms behave differently enough that someone needs to be thinking about all of them at once — see the comparison and decision guidance above. A platform specialist can make sense if one engine clearly dominates your audience.
Can a US, UK, or Australian company hire an India-based GEO agency?
Yes — this is a fully remote service category. Location doesn’t meaningfully limit the work itself, though it’s worth confirming communication norms and reporting cadence before signing on.
How much does LLM SEO / GEO cost in India compared to Western agencies?
Generally lower, often substantially so. Exact pricing varies by agency, platform mix, and scope, though. Ask for a clear quote based on your specific situation rather than comparing headline numbers across differently scoped engagements.
How long does it take to see results across multiple AI platforms?
Plan for months, not weeks, as an honest baseline — and expect uneven timing across platforms, since each sources and updates its answers differently. Any agency promising fast, uniform results across every platform at once deserves a skeptical follow-up question about how, exactly, it’s measuring that.
Does AI Overviews visibility matter the same way ChatGPT or Perplexity visibility does?
Not exactly the same way. AI Overviews sits inside Google Search itself and leans on Google’s own ecosystem the way Gemini does. It also shows up inline inside a Google Search results page you already opened, not a separate app or site you visit on purpose the way ChatGPT or Perplexity is. That makes it behave more like a search-adjacent feature than a standalone destination. It’s still worth tracking. But the buying decision, and the work involved, looks a little different than optimizing for a chatbot a user opens on purpose.
Is this list of other agencies independent, or is it paid placement?
Independent and unpaid. We selected these nine based on public information about their focus and stated scale, deliberately choosing smaller, specialized firms over the handful of large agencies that already dominate most “best of” lists for this category. No agency on this list paid for inclusion. None asked to be included.
